Plaque AGREED for 3 Savile Row to Commemorate ‘Rooftop Concert!’

I’m very glad to report that the owners of 3 Savile Row have agreed to the erecting of a plaque to commemorate the Beatles last ever live performance on the rooftop. It is hoped the plaque will be unveiled on or before 30th January 2019 – the 50th anniversary of this historic event.

A committee will now be formed to facilitate this happening, and to organise a ceremony for its unveiling. If you are interested in getting involved, please email

  1. The one concert that I would have most liked to have been at – FAB!! Any update on when it will be erected and any involvement us minions might be allowed? My No1 iconic music site in London – plaque long overdue.

  2. I was actually there on the day within a few feet of the Beatles and Billy Preston.
I worked close by and.ran along the adjoining roofs to be there
    What a lunchtime concert

  3. I’m currently in Londo and that day I’m back to my country. Does anybody know what time the ceremony will take place? I’d like to be there!!
