It was 50 Years Ago Today – More Details of the new Sgt Pepper Film

Here is the trailer for the great new film ‘It was 50 Years Ago Today’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2uUckwL6oo

The film is as good as the trailer. I saw it a few weeks ago and can highly recommend it.

The film will be first shown in cinemas, starting on May 26th. More details of when and where will follow when known.

The DVD/Blu-Ray will be released on 3rd July. It will include well over 4 hours of extras, not in the cinema film! Among the extras is footage of Yoko Ono unveiling the English Heritage Blue Plaque at 34 Montagu Square in London, which was the first place she lived with John Lennon. In the footage is an interview with yours truly about John and Yoko having the ‘Two Virgins’ album cover picture taken there :>) The DVD can be ordered from https://www.amazon.co.uk/Was-Fifty-Years-Today-Beatles/dp/B06Y2D59PV/ref=zg_bsnr_9840830031_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=GNCNM7ATK24DD1ARV1PE
